Seeds of Design Influences: Jewellery made with sea shells

As I have already told you in my previous posts, as long as you have a creative mind, you can do amazing things with those simple materials you can find around you.

This post is about making jewellery from sea shells. You can create whatever design you want and all you need is some sea shells, a sharp tool to hollow the sea shells and a thread. You can also have hooks if you want, but depends on the jewellery you want to make.

This is a picture of some of the different shapes of sea shells which can be found in the coastal belt of Sri Lanka. It was taken behind the Hotel Mt. Lavinia.
